A Cat. It cannot capture or be captured.
Dashed and striped: a Cat's no-capture zone. Pieces there are disarmed and drawn faded.
Dot: the selected piece can move there.
Ring: the selected piece can capture there.
Corner notch: the last move's two squares.
!Red frame and “!”: a king in check.
